Straighten Out wish to say a very big THANK YOU to drummer Casey, who played his last gig with the band at Bolton (although he may make the odd appearance ‘depping’ from time-to-time). Casey can’t continue the band’s busy schedule with other pressing commitments and responsibilities at home. He will be missed. In the meantime we’re chuffed to announce the return of the legend that is Micky P, on drum duties until further notice.

It's that time of year again where the Stranglers gigs are announced so it's time for Straighten out to do there annual pre-stranglers gigs. Next year it will be Nice n Sleazys on Saturday 11th March and the Hope & Anchor on Friday 24th March. Both gigs will be £7 pay on the door and doors will open at 1pm with the band on stage at 2pm till 4pm.


Straighten out are pleased to announce there first ever gig in Wales. They wil be playing at the Muni Arts Centre in Pontipridd on Saturday 8th October.

The band have managed to secure a gig at the brilliant Jollees Caberet Venue in Stoke on Trent. This is a new venue for Straighten Out but it is sure to be a brilliant gig in a brilliant venue

As some of you may know Moses Gate in Farnworth, Bolton has closed down. The owner Ray had moved to a new venue Kico.Rocks in the centre of Bolton but do to unforseen circumstances this has not closed, but he has opened a new venue, BarMetro.Rocks. Straighten out will be playing there on Saturday 27th August. The date stays the same but the venue has chaged. Also the Greyhound in Beeston has changed hands and unfortunately Straighten out will no longer be playing there but they have sourced a new venue, The Dog House in Nottingham. The band will be playing there on Saturday 1st October. Both have kept the same dates but changed venues. Hope to see you all there

The band just want to say thank you everyone that came to see them in Glasgow & London. The band understand how expensive it can be travelling around the country so it is very much appreciated and you all made the gigs where fantastic.

It will be the first time for Straighten out playing at the famous 100 club on Friday 23rd September. They will be joined on the night by the Complete Clash and the broken hearts. Then as a southern double header they are playing at the Hope & Anchor on Saturday 24th September.

You may or may not know but 2016 is the 40th anniversary of the Finchley's meeting the Stranglers. So theFinchley boys have decided to have a bit of a bash. Most of you will know that two of the original Finchley Boys passed away last year Chris Green and John Harrnety also Leigh Bull 2014 and Andy(Daddy) Christou in 2001 so this bash is dedicated to them and all proceeds will be going to charities so come along and have a fun night help some good causes this is a one off as I doubt there will be another.

Straighten Out will be headlining & it is gonna be a once in a lifetime bash. Tickets are available by contacting Steve Hillier
